Our Knysna Sailing and Sunset Cruises
Fun and relaxation guaranteed!
Your sail starts and end at Sirocco on Thesen Island. We then sail out into the beautiful waters of the Knysna lagoon or the Garden Route coastline, while sipping on a glass of ice cold Bubbly. The cruise will give you a close-up experience of the magnificent Knysna Heads and the Knysna estuary with it’s abundant marine life. You may even encounter sightings of dolphins and whales along the way. The skipper will make a call whether or not it’s safe to sail through the Knysna heads and the call is weather dependant. On board your cruise you can choose to be as entertained as you wish…try your hand at fishing, dive straight off the boat and enjoy swimming in the clear water, or just simply sit back, relax and enjoy every moment. We also have two SUPS on board which is a huge hit and lots of fun.
On our way back and depending on the length of your cruise, we will drop anchor and enjoy some delicious snacks and complimentary bubbly. A cash bar is available on board. All cruises includes 2 glasses of bubbly per adult, and light snacks.

More about Knysna
We sail the most pristine part of the Garden Route, a coastal stretch that runs from the Outeniquas to the Tsitsikamma Mountain range, of which Knysna is the heart. A town situated on the shores of a protected natural basin guarded by two huge geological formations known as the Knysna Heads. The Knysna Basin forms a perfect lake like estuary, a natural bay, and is home to our sailing vessels with the Knysna heads being our passageway to the warmer Indian Ocean. This phenomenon must be one of the most striking natural geographical features along the entire Southern African coastline. Views along this jagged edged coast include small hidden beaches bordered by indigenous fynbos and weathering sandstone formations, that have, through time, created alluring picturesque coves and mysterious stone caverns. To complete it all, the line of forests and the blue mountains in the distance create the perfect backdrop for this remarkable vista.
