You can choose to book the vessel privately for your exclusive use or join on a group cruise. Both private and group cruises are limited to a maximum of 12 passengers to ensure the luxury and comfort of your experience.

An amazing way to explore all the natural beauty that the Knysna lagoon has on offer, with magical bays and coves and a rich ecosystem. We navigate through the famous Knysna Heads out into the open Indian Ocean, abundant with a diversity of marine and birdlife. Spend some time relaxing, sunbathing and sightseeing. Light snacks included.
On group cruises: Once we set sail you can enjoy swimming or snorkeling, depending on the group and weather conditions.
On private cruises: Once we set sail you can enjoy supping, fishing, swimming or snorkeling depending on the duration of your cruise. Stand-up paddleboarding is a water sport born from surfing, with modern roots in Hawaii. Stand-up paddleboarders stand on boards that are floating on the water, and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water. Speak to our team if you would like to try it.
LaraBella our flagship vessel is equipped with spacious trampolines, an outdoor shower, a braai, a wine cooler, a coffee machine, bar, big lounge saloon area, 4 beautiful en suite cabins, a cash bar and several fridges. Enjoy Knysna’s lagoon and nature on a spacious cruise without crowds, with ample space to laze on the trampolines and soak up the sun, while you enjoy an ice-cold bubbly.
We have a cash bar onboard with a variety of drinks and soft drinks.

Remember to bring your camera, hat, sunscreen, binoculars and something warm, as it can get cooler on the water than on land, especially during the late afternoons.

We don’t allow shoes onboard the Catamaran. We will keep your shoes safe for you in our onboard storage, during the boat cruise. Please bring some cozy socks along in the colder winter months.
We have a toilet onboard, but please try to use the bathrooms on Thesen Island before you board.
No smoking on board please.

The ideal view to see the iconic Knysna Heads, experience the Knysna lagoon, and see the beaches and bays on the way. Sit back and relax aboard our stylish lagoon cruiser Bella Vita and enjoy the sunshine. Delicious snacks, drinks and oysters are available on pre-order. You will be mesmerised by the exquisite views of the lagoon framed by our beautiful town and the Outeniqua mountains as a backdrop. We often see a playful seal or interesting birdlife along the way, or be adventurous and take a swim in the clear water. You are welcome to bring your own music we have a sound system onboard.
